President Barack Obama Signs FY2009 Omnibus Into Law

In a private ceremony, President Barack Obama signed the FY2009 Omnibus Bill into law.  With the bill's passage, several education programs will see an increase... The omnibus bill will also provide increases for afterschool programs, the Elementary and Secondary School Counseling program, Smaller Learning Communities, TRIO, and GEAR UP.  GEAR UP budget increased by $10 million
