Students are tested in the spring each year with the California Standards Tests (CST), in English/Language Arts, Mathematics, Algebra 1 (grades 7, 8), Geometry (grade 8), Science (grade 8), and History/Social Science (grade 8). Students take the Algebra or Geometry tests only if they are enrolled in those courses. Students can score Far Below Basic, Below Basic, Basic, Proficient, or Advanced. The CST is part of the Standardized Testing and Reporting (STAR) Program.

Data: Number and percent of students scoring Proficient or Advanced during 2 years of participation, with change and percentage of change from baseline year to year 2.
